Route 66

OR the twins’ thirteenth birthday part of their gift was a road trip down Route 66. We’ve been planning it since October. We will hit the road in June and we’re all getting pretty excited. In thinking through a Bible study to add to our journey, I decided to walk them through the 66 books of the Bible.

I’m going to add some context for our discussions and think through wording for a basic narrative summary to point back to with each passage. We’re planning to do six books of the Bible each day beginning with reading a couple verses at each meal time. If you want a quick overview of the Route 66 through the Bible here it is:

Genesis 6:6
6 The LORD regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled.
